Ginger Soy Haddock

I got to try Haddock šŸŸfor the first time this weekend. Iā€™d never heard of it before, so I was excited to try something new!

Itā€™s not very fishy and has a slightly sweet profile. Its texture is firm yet tender, what I mean is It falls apart in beautiful big flakes. It is slightly chewy, but not rubbery. Itā€™s great for recipes that call for a firmer texture.

For this recipe I used šŸ‡®šŸ‡ø @icelandcatch Haddock filets šŸŸThey were kind enough to send a 4 pack of Haddock and Cod Filets for me to try - Stay tuned for the Cod filets recipe! - I thought it was really cool that they hand-cut their filets because it helps support the community by generating new jobs.

I decided to go with a bold, Asian-inspired sauce as a foolproof recipe since I wasnā€™t sure what to expect and it turned out very good.

Dropping the recipe below šŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡šŸ‘‡
